About Me

Neoma Nails was established by Lisa in 2021 as a result of some big life changes due to Lockdown and becoming a mother in 2020.

Previous to this Lisa worked for 15 years backstage in the theatre industry, travelling the UK and beyond and working in the West End on large scale musicals including Mamma Mia, Phantom of the Opera and Only Fools and Horses to name just a few.

Sadly the pandemic brought an abrupt end to this with all the theatres closing in March 2020. They didn’t open again until 2 years later by which time Lisa had decided to make a change to be at home for her family and do a job that was still creative but gave her a better work/life balance.

After obtaining diplomas in Gel Polish, Manicure, Gel Polish Nail Art, Builder in a Bottle and Extensions using Sculpting Lisa decided to set up as a mobile nail technician. 

Since setup Neoma Nails has gone from strength to strength, becoming successful with a growing and very loyal client base for which Lisa is so very grateful and enjoys building a rapport and relationship with each and every client.

Lisa specialises in many different nail art techniques and loves getting creative with new designs and is always open to requests.

The Barn Courtyard Nail Studio

Lisa is very excited to have her own Nail Studio in the centre of Wendover at The Barn Courtyard and looks forward to welcoming current clients and new.

What Products do you use?

All products are Candy Coat which is animal cruelty, vegan and HEMA free and provides long-lasting manicures from between 2-3 weeks (some clients have made them last up to 7 weeks although this is not recommended).

Recommended Aftercare:

• Wear gloves for cleaning/washing up
• Use cuticle oil daily
• Avoid intense heat (hot tub/sauna)
• Do not pick or peel the product off as this can cause damage to the natural nail
• Your nails are jewels not tools!
• Keep regular appointments every 2-3 weeks.

Lisa is always on hand to offer advice and encouragement for your nail goals. Builder Gel is highly recommended for clients that want to increase the length and strength of their natural nails and has fantastic results.

Why the name Neoma?

Neoma means New Moon; pleasantness. As Neoma Nails is a new beginning for Lisa it felt apt to have a name that reflects this and of course having your nails done is one of the greatest feelings of “pleasantness” one can have and Lisa strives to ensure you feel happy, pampered and cared for during every treatment.
